Digital Footprints

The Digital Footprints Project is for you!

The purpose of Digital Footprints is for you to explore many of the new tools that are available for students for free on the Web.  People are calling these tools Web 2.0 tools because you get to add to the WWW instead of just reading from it.  This project will give you opportunities to use some of these new Web 2.0 tools.

You are in charge of your own learning in this project. There are some directions provided, and I am available for any help that you need, but you are expected to do some trial and error, reading and “figuring it out” with this project.   There are XX different parts to this project and you are responsible for keeping up with the assignments.  For each part you will be shown a new Web 2.0 tool that you will use to complete a small assignment.  Start with Part One and continue to the next part only when you have finished the assignment.  You will present your final project to a group of students also working on this project. 

Each part begins with a short description of the Web 2.0 tool and will be followed by an assignment to complete.  You will need an e-mail address to complete most of these projects so that will be included in your part one assignment.
